US BO: KVV Better Among New Releases

Despite many releases, last weekend saw little activity at the box office.

By and large, it was a dull affair. Among the new releases, Naga Shaurya’s “Krishna Vrinda Vihari” had a decent start.

The film grossed more than 100k dollars in the USA. For a Naga Shaurya starrer, it is an okay collection.

#KrishnaVrindaVihari: Thu: $16,144 Fri: $39,914 Sat: $44,240 Sun: $22k Total: $123k  Readmore!

“Dongalunnnaru Jaagratha” and “Alluri” both grossed negligible amounts. Together, they have collected less than two thousand dollars.

On the other hand, Balakrishna’s re-release movie “Chennakesava Reddy” was screened on Saturday in about 40 theaters in various locations across the USA.

The TDP sympathizers and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans came in big numbers to watch it. The film collected $47k from the single show.

“Chennakesava Reddy” collected more than what “Pokiri” and “Jalsa” grossed recently.

“Brahmastra” has added some more moolah to its kitty in the third weekend and its total gross now stands at $7.1 million.
