Get ready to witness the most aggressive avatar of the rising superstar Vijay Deverakonda.

The Geetha Govindam actor’s latest film NOTA is a political drama. It is yet another interesting film from Vijay who has been switching genres for each film.

NOTA is releasing today in Telugu and Tamil and is set for a stunning opening in Tamilnadu and Telugu states as well.

The film is made in Tamil and dubbed into Telugu, but Vijay’s growing popularity among the youth has ensured stupendous start for NOTA in Telugu states.

Advance booking trends indicate that it will record good openings everywhere. Directed by Anand Shankar, the film is a serious political drama sans comedy and romance.

Vijay will be seen as ‘Rowdy’ Chief Minister in the film. Mehreen is paired opposite him. NOTA has literally no competition in Telugu but is clashing with multiple films in Tamil.

The film is sold for reasonable rates in spite of Geetha Govindam’s mega success. With Vijay’s crowd pulling power NOTA is in for a strong first weekend.

It can be a good hit if it generates positive word of mouth from early shows.

Greatandhra brings to you the NOTA experience and all the excitement of this gripping fare live via tweet review.

N0TA. 149 mins.

Film begins with Varun's (Vijay Deverakonda) birthday. A party song.

Song is not at all catchy. Just routine intro song.

A police officer informs Varun that there's an emergency. He will have to become state's Chief Minister. And titles begin.

Sathyaraj is introduced as journalist.

Nasser is introduced as Chief Minister. He is stepping down as CM due to a case. He nominates his son Varun as CM.

Mehreen as journalist appears.

The film has Tamil dubbed flavor. Bad Telugu dailgoues.

Varun takes oath as temporary CM. A guy with no knowledge of politics has become CM.

Varun now is forced to become real CM, not temporary CM. Those scenes are going on.

Finally one good scene comes in the entire movie.

Time for second song. Party song again. Songs are bad.

Flashback of Nasser is going on.

Mehreen as Swathi the journalist appears again. She doesn't have much role.

The reluctant Varun now becomes as Rowdy CM. Interval bang.

First Half Report : The political thriller has similar story line of "Bharat Ane Nenu" but this first half is told in dull manner. Except Vijay Deverakonda, nothing is exciting. Second half should be engaging.

Second half of the movie begins with Varun trying to find the mystery behind the attack on his father.

Now comes flashback story of Sathyaraj.

Movie is going on with some interesting scene.

Movie is progressing with some twists.

Scenes that remind recent Tamil Nadu political developments are going on.

Movie is heading towards climax.
