Soon after the dissolution of the Telangana assembly on September 6 paving way for the early elections, the state has plunged into the election mood.
While the Congress party has begun the election exercise immediately, there is surprisingly an unusual silence in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi camp.
Though TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced the list of 105 candidates on the day one itself, there is still a lot of confusion on how many of them would get the B form finally.
Surprisingly, KCR has gone into oblivion since then, confining himself to his Erravelli farm house.
As the leader is inaccessible, all the candidates whose names were cleared and who are still aspiring for tickets are running around KCR’s son K T Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan.
Almost every day, the TRS leaders are making a beeline to Pragathi Bhavan and waiting for hours to meet KTR.
While some of them are aspiring for tickets, others whose names have already figured in the list are meeting him to discuss the resource mobilisation and campaigning strategies.
At the same time, KTR is also calling disgruntled ticket aspirants to Pragati Bhavan and trying to pacify them stating that they would get their due in power in the coming days.
Sources said KTR is also telling the leaders that the first list of 105 candidates is not totally final and there could be changes by the time the schedule is announced.
In the whole exercise, the TRS leaders have completely ignored KCR as if his time is up and are rushing to KTR, who is behaving like de facto TRS president and also the chief minister!
