Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to campaign for Samajwadi Party in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday as part of the ongoing assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
The TRS leaders have been giving a lot of hype to KCR’s campaign in Varanasi. The temple town has been painted pink with the flex boards of the TRS adorning every nook and corner in the party colour.
“Welcome to Telangana chief minister KCR ji to Uttar Pradesh,” read the posters and banners.
Reports from Varanasi said flex boards have been put up at all vantage points according a big welcome to KCR on his visit to the town to campaign for Samajwadi Party, headed by Akhilesh Yadav.
The flex boards have Telangana map and the state government’s schemes, to show that if Samajwadi Party comes to power in UP, it will replicate the welfare schemes being implemented in Telangana.
Apart from flex boards, huge cut-outs of KCR have also appeared at several places. Apart from KCR, his son K T Rama Rao, minister V Prashant Reddy, MP Joginipalli Santosh and others are also adorning the flex boards.
Of course, there are also pictures of other leaders like Mamata Banjerjee, M K Stalin, Uddhav Thackeray, Naveen Patnaik, Deve Gowda, Akhikesh Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav, Sharad Pawar and even that of actor Prakash Raj are visible on the flex boards.
