At a recent press meet, Trisha was asked whether she'd like to act in late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha's biopic.
She said, "In Chennai, I studied in the same school as Jayalalitha did. When I was 10 years old, she came as a chief guest to my school function. Ever since I saw her, I have developed great respect for her. In fact, I have uploaded my picture with her as my Twitter display picture."
"If her life story is being made as a film, I'd love to reprise her role in it. Her loss is irreparable. I'd also like to clear the air that I do not have any political aspirations. I'm happy as an actress and I'd like to continue the same," she added.
