1) Sarkar: Vijay's long awaited dream of scoring a success in Telugu states has finally come true with Sarkar.
The political drama directed by Murugadoss has done very good business in its first weekend. It is already into safe zone in many centers and will break even in the remaining centers too.
The dubbed film has collected better than mid-range Savyasachi in some centers, which is a phenomenal feat considering costs of both the films.
2) Thugs Of Hindustan: Aamir Khan’s period drama was expected to be a universal hit. But the perfectionist has failed to judge the outcome this time.
Collections of Thugs took a nosedive after strong start and the film is heading for a big flop. It is a rare failure for Aamir who has mastered the art of delivering blockbusters.
3) Savyasachi: Naga Chaitanya’s miseries continue as Savyasachi also tanked at the box office. It will end up as one of the biggest flops in Chay’s career with a life time distributor share of less than Rs. 10 crore.
Buyers are eyeing at losses ranging between fifty to sixty percent. It is also the first flop for Mythri Movie Makers.
4) Adhugo: Ravi Babu’s plan of offering novel entertainment for Telugu audience with a live animation film has turned out to be disastrous.
Adhugo has been panned by the critics as one of the horrendous films of the year. The film is a total washout all over Telugu states and overseas too.
5) Kartha Karma Kriya: This low budget crime thriller is a non-starter and an outright flop at ticket windows.
