Top 5: Most Miserable Liger Week

1. Liger: This much hyped film directed by Puri Jagannath starring Vijay Deverakonda has bitten the mud miserably.

The first day collection in AP and Telangana was around Rs 9 Cr share and in Hindi it could garner Rs 5 Cr nett with premiers and around Rs 4.5 Cr nett on the subsequent day. That's the most miserable collection considering the size of the film. It has received a flak from the audience of all centers.

This is heading for a huge disaster in Vijay's career. Buyers are staring at losses ranging from 50% to 70% in Andhra, USA and Ceded.

2. Karthikeya-2: The film grossed the collection of Rs 100 Cr at the box office and that's a great feat by an average budget film of a midrange hero. Readmore!

The makers claim that the film was made at a budget of around Rs 30 Cr and making Rs 100 Cr gross only at the theaters is quite a big success.

The film proved to be the most profitable venture and kept the head of Tollywood high in the Bollywood circuit. Nikhil Siddharth got the pan Indian identity with this film.

3. Sita Ramam: The film made a collection of Rs 80 Cr gross. With the most popular casting the film appealed to the class audience and it pulled many families to theatres after a long time.

Even after the three weeks of run, the film is successfully pulling the attention of audiences and the footfalls are being recorded in theaters in good numbers. This film stood up as one of the biggest hits of this year so far.

4. Bimbisara: This surprise film with an out of the box story and narrative pulled the interest of the audience.

Starring Kalyan Ram, the film made a gross collection of 63 cr at the box office which is a great thing to be noted.

With socio-fantasy fiction, the film entertained the young audience and kids as well.

5. Thiru: This dubbed film from Kollywood made its presence felt at the Telugu box office. Starring Dhanush, Thiru is the story of a delivery boy who tries to get his life on track.

Dhanush played the lead while Raashi Khanna and Nitya Menon are the female leads. Mithran R Jawahar directed the film.
