1. Bangarraju: The film released targeting the Sankranthi season could find better traction as expected. The pandemic woes didn't disturb the fate of this film much in Andhra region.
The collections are very good in Andhra-Ceded even in these odd times. But on the flip side, the collections are bad in Telangana region.
On a whole this film stands in the top position of this week.
2. Akhanda: This film could manage to make impressive collections even after 45 days of release owing to the Sankranthi season.
For not seeing any big film around this Sankranthi season, the audience made their presence felt in the theaters of Akhanda.
The film not hitting the OTT platform is another added advantage for this feat.
3. Rowdy Boys: The film with the debutante hero Ashish Reddy in the main role, was targeted for the young audience.
The mass elements in the films are intended to pull the traction from the young audience but the film couldn't get reasonable openings. The response is not so up to the mark.
4. Hero: This film from Galla's family launched Ashok Galla with Nidhi Agarwal beside him. The film is dealt like an action oriented rom com in a lighter vein.
It couldn't manage to garner satisfactory collections. The actor looked promising and a few more films from him can be awaited.
5. Pushpa: The film stands last in the list for the only reason that this is already streaming on OTT. Despite this, it could pull the attention of some audiences due to the festival factor.
The full run of the film at the theater has almost come to an end and these Sankranthi collections prove to be the last nail in the box office.
