1. Sammathame: This film by Kiran Abbavaram raised some expectations especially with the release of its music.
The loyal teenage audience are expected to patronize this film but that didn't happen. The film crashed miserably with poor collections on the day one itself.
The film failed to pull the required traction from the target audience as well. Chandini Chowdhary played the female lead while Gopinath Reddy directed it.
2. Vikram: So far this film collected more than Rs 400 Cr worldwide and stood up as the highest grosser ever in the history of Tamil cinema within Tamilnadu.
The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with Kamal Hasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Fazil in lead roles.
The collections are steady for this film as it appealed to the youth audience by the virtue of its making style. The action episodes and the new age screenplay made the difference.
3. Chor Bazaar: This film by Puri Akash is a big let down and the openings were also miserable in many centers. Though it pulled the attention of a set of youth audiences, their footfall count couldn't match the requirement to call it successful.
The subsequent bad talk after the release shattered the expectations. Jeevan Reddy directed the film and it was declared a flop on the day one.
4. F3: The run of this film has almost come to an end but some theatres are recording admissions especially in the rural areas. It is all set to hit the OTTs shortly and the theatrical saga continues until that time.
Venkatesh and Varun Tej played the main leads, while Tamanna and Mehreen stood out as the glamor queens on screen.
The film has a heavy star cast and on a whole it proved to be a comedy entertainer on the screen.
5. Konda: Ram Gopal Varma's biopic on Konda Murali with a naxal and political backdrop was released this week but couldn't pull the attention of audience as required.
The limited set of audience who admire Ram Gopal Varma could attempt to watch the film but it failed to grab the attention of the rest of the audience.
Thrigun and Irra Mor played the leads while Sushmitha Patel produced it.
