Chiranjeevi is turning 68 this year. But his impact on Box Office is still strong and mighty. It's not just a shallow compliment but here is a statistical fact.
Out of the 10 highest grossing Telugu movies in the history, Chiranjeevi is the only senior hero to grab two spots with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (collected Rs 240 Cr) and Waltair Veerayya (collected Rs 213 Cr so far).
Moreover, both these films are not outstandingly content like that of Baahubali or Puhshpa, which shook the national audience as well. But still the star image of Chiranjeevi shouldered those two films and kept them in the top#10 list.
The other films in the top-10 list are Baahubali-The Conclusion and Baahubali-The Beginning of Prabhas which collected Rs 1810 Cr and Rs 600 Cr respectively; RRR of NTR and Ram Charan which bagged Rs 1200 Cr; Prabhas starrer Saaho made 400 Cr, Pushpa and Ala Vaikuntapuramulo of Allu Arjun which made Rs 373 Cr and Rs 280 Cr respectively; Sarileru Neekevvaru of Mahesh Babu that garnered Rs 260 Cr respectively; and Rangasthalam of Ram Charan which made Rs 216 Cr.
Chiranjeevi's charm and stardom is undeniably strong and intact.
