Tollywood celebrities have suddenly started praising Revanth Reddy for his mission HYDRAA.
It is not known if there was some message from the CMO (Chief Minister's Office) asking them to post supportive tweets to gain publicity and positive mileage, or if the celebrities themselves voluntarily started tweeting.
Harish Shankar tweeted, "Let us respect nature. And I salute the government of Revanth Reddy @revanth_anumula garu, which is not trying to do fake make-up on a broken system but is trying to strengthen the foundations for a great future.
HYDRAA, clearing our illegally-occupied lakes and water bodies, restoring nalas, and giving life to Musi along with a vision for Future City, gives me great confidence that you are not a politician thinking of the next election but a statesman thinking of the next generation. You are both a true visionary and a man on a mission.
Let us all, people of Hyderabad and Telangana, back our dear CM Revanth Reddy garu and add to his power to make Hyderabad a truly great and globally respected metropolis."
Nagababu Konidela tweeted, "Let's appreciate our honorable CM @revanth_anumula garu for your daring decisions and commendable work. We stand with you in full support."
Madhushalini, the actress, wrote, "Thank you, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy garu, for your vision and leadership. HYDRAA represents a forward-thinking approach that aligns with our natural environment's needs. We appreciate your efforts to guide us toward a more resilient and harmonious future ðð½ @revanth_anumula."
This sudden surge of tweets from the film community is surprising.
An insider said, "There could be some signal from government insiders to post these tweets, or else the film celebrities are proactively supporting the Chief Minister. It should be remembered that Revanth Reddy expressed his displeasure when the film industry didn't come forward after he announced the Gaddar Awards. Later, Chiranjeevi and others started supporting him. In a way, this is a signal that whenever Revanth Reddy makes decisions, the film industry people feel it is obligatory to support him."
It is known that N Convention, which belonged to Nagarjuna, was demolished by HYDRAA. These tweets convey that the industry people are not in support of Nagarjuna, either morally or legally, but are only on the side of Revanth Reddy, whether out of fear, obligation, or true patriotism.
