The national media outlets, Times Now and Navabharat, delivered some significant news for the ruling YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh.
These media organizations released the results of their surveys conducted in various states, including the two Telugu States.
In Andhra Pradesh, the Times Now Navabharat survey projected a resounding victory for the ruling YSR Congress.
According to the survey, the YSR Congress is expected to secure 24 out of the total 25 MP seats, leaving either no seat or just one seat for the TDP.
In the 2019 general elections, the YSR Congress won 22 MP seats and 151 MLA seats.
Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been expressing confidence that the party will triumph in all 175 Assembly seats in the 2024 general elections.
If the survey results are to be believed and the YSR Congress indeed wins 24 or all 25 MP seats, it would imply a potential victory in all 175 Assembly seats as well.
With 10 months remaining until the next round of general elections, the opposition TDP is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to regain power, and it may succeed in winning some seats.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is also actively campaigning, vowing not to allow the YSR Congress to win even a single seat in the Godavari districts.
It remains to be seen how effective the TDP and Jana Sena will be in halting the YSR Congress's march to victory in the upcoming elections.
