This Is A Big Mistake, Mr RGV!

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma on Wednesday released the trailer of his much-trumpeted film “Power Star.”

Setting aside how the trailer is and the hype associated with it, there is definitely one highly objectionable scene in the trailer. That does not mean all the other scenes are good and all of them are predictable ones that has been doing rounds in the audiences.

People thronged in millions to Pawan’s meetings, but did not vote for him; Pawan ruled out Jagan becoming the chief minister and the power star could make it to the film industry basking in the glory of his elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi – all these are undeniable facts to a large extent.

But one particular scene in which Pawan Kalyan roughs up Trivikram Srinivas was atrocious and it smacks of sadistic mentality of RGV. This is because there was no such news, not even a gossip, about such an incident happening in the film industry. Readmore!

Moreover, Trivikram has his own stature in Tollywood. He might not be a world-class director like S S Rajamouli and there might be many other top directors. But Trivikram commands a lot of respect so much so that he is referred to as Guruji in the industry.

Trivikram is a closer to the hearts of many heroes by giving them valuable advices. People still remember the words of NTR about Trivikram on the stage, after the death of his father.

Most of the heroes give a lot of respect to Trivikram not because he is a top director, but because of their affection and respect towards his personality.

RGV might have gained sadistic pleasure by picturising a scene showing Pawan Kalyan slapping Trivikram, but that no way does demean the stature of Trivikram.

If Trivikram’s fans recall the dialogue of NTR in Aravinda Sametha that “if a dog barks at a mountain, no harm is done to the mountain,” nobody can be faulted, except RGV.
