One Telugu film that turned out to be the biggest disaster at the box office in recent times was Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s “Acharya”.
The film left distributors in heavy losses, some of them even losing 70 percent of their investment.
Director Koratala Siva is still facing the problems of “Acharya”.
Naga Chaitanya starrer “Thank You” put “Acharya” to the same. The film was totally rejected by the audiences. On the second day, collections were almost zero. Many shows got canceled in multiplexes with no one turning up.
Luckily, “Thank You” was not sold for hefty prices unlike “Acharya”. Producer Dil Raju can manage the losses. But in terms of the range of disasters, Naga Chaitanya’s film replaces Megastar’s movie.
