Telangana Minister Praises Jagan On capital Stand!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and minister for animal husbandry Talasani Srinivasa Yadav was on Saturday all praise for YSR Congress president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister for taking a right stand on the three capitals for the state.

“I think Jagan government has taken the right decision on the three capitals issue after making a thorough exercise for a long time. What the people need is reality nor graphic images,” Talasani said to reporters, on his visit to Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada.

The Telangana minister said everybody was aware how the previous government had wasted time on Amaravati in the name of capital development.

He, however, refused to comment on the agitation of Amaravati farmers or the opposition parties stating that it was purely an internal issue of Andhra Pradesh. Readmore!

Talasani also lauded the efforts of the Jagan government in development of temples in AP.

“It is a commendable gesture on the part of the chief minister for releasing Rs 70 crore for giving a facelift to Kanaka Durga temple. In both the Telugu states, the temples are witnessing rapid development,” he said.

At the same time, the Telangana minister lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party for making a noise in the Telugu states, as if it was new to politics.

“However, the BJP’s victory is a temporary phenomenon. It will have little impact on the Telugu states. It is trying to destroy the secular fabric of the country and play divisive politics,” Talasani criticised.
