TDP leader foul-mouths Jagan, YSRC retaliates

Political party leaders these days have forgotten all sorts of decency and decorum, while criticising their rivals and are indulging in abusing each other in filthy languages which cannot even be telecast or published as it is.

On Tuesday, Telugu Desam Party spokesman Kommareddi Pattabhi resorted to abusing YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in filthy language, accusing the latter of abetting the police against the TDP leaders for questioning the ganja and narcotics cultivation in the state.

Pattabhi could have confined himself to making a political criticism on the issue of ganja cultivation and trade allegedly by the YSRC leaders in Visakhapatnam forest areas, but he chose to use foul language against Jagan which cannot be published by any respectable media house.

Naturally, it evoked strong reaction from YSRC leaders and cadres across the state – starting from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool. Readmore!

The party leaders and cadres attacked the TDP offices in districts, burnt the effigies of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and raised slogans against Pattabhi and Naidu.

At Mangalagiri, the YSRC cadres attacked the TDP headquarters and ransacked the office and damaged vehicles. They also attacked Pattabhi’s house and damaged the furniture.

Besides, YSRC legislator T J R Sudhakar Babu also used foul language against Naidu and Pattabhi. He alleged that the TDP president was grooming dogs and pigs and was provoking them against YSRC and Jagan.

Naidu lodged a complaint with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and to the AP Governor about the alleged vandalism by the YSRCP cadre at the main and district offices of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the state and requested for protection from central security forces.
