TDP Bribing Voters Through Seva Mitra App?

YSR Congress party on Thursday alleged that the ruling Telugu Desam Party is trying to bribe voters directly using the bank data of voters collected through Seva Mitra mobile applications.

YSRC general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the TDP had indulged in data theft from the government about the personal details of the voters across the state and was now using the data to bribe them.

“It is now coming to reality that the bank account numbers so collected by Seva Mitra App of the TDP are being used to transfer money and volunteers going to the households and alerting the residents about the deposits and asking them to vote for the TDP,” he said.

Reddy said the party would soon come out with full details in the days to come and would expose the corrupt practices of the ruling party. Readmore!

On the hue and cry being raised by Naidu over the ongoing IT raids on the TDP leaders including those on minister P Narayana’s educational institutions in Nellore, the YSRC leader said the IT raids could be part of the conspiracy hatched by Naidu in collusion with the BJP only to gain the sympathy of the voters.

“The Operation Garuda, which was brought into the open by his sympathizer could be made up. While some things are coming out as they have planned but they could not get the reaction right. When data theft took place, there was large scale outburst,” he said.

Reddy pointed out that Naidu had been raising the IT bogey whenever his party fell on the defensive as it happened after his party leaders had overplayed the suspicion angle to the Y S Vivekananda Reddy murder issue.

“He has been attacking our leader personally which goes against the ethics and such talk comes out of pure desperation,” he said.
