Nandamuri Balakrishna is the actor with a legacy. He has his own identity as the top star on screen and a notable figure in Andhra Pradesh politics. He is an MLA and still continuing as the most happening commercial star on silver screen.
He accepted to do Unstoppable show on Aha which is far below his stature. But still it is ok as he tried on small screen like that of Nagarjuna, Nani, NTR and Chiranjeevi. But Unstoppable 2 is putting him in shame as per his fans.
A fan writes- " This is below the dignity for Balayya. Why should he stoop to interview the guys like Vishwaksen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Why should he spend time to interview the yesteryear actresses like Jayasudha? It is ok as long he interviews CBN or Prabhas. But when he does something below par just for the sake of filling the content his image is at risk. I wish he should stop the show immediately".
There is enough discussion about this on social media. Though the Big B Amitabh started his TV presence with Kaun Banega Crorepathi, the small screen circuit also got bigger fame. But that was a conceptual game where the general public vie to make a place in a frame with Amitabh.
Similarly Nagarjuja, Nani and NTR worked for Bigg Boss which is in fact a celeb show. The inmates wait for the weekend to meet the star.
But here Balakrishna has to wait for the guests to confirm their time. Some guests say NO and some delay. This is a disgrace for the stars like Balayya.
So by all means Balakrishna doing celebrity interviews doesn't make a him an Oprah Winfrey, rather he loses his charm, as per some of his fans.
