'Swag' Trailer: Comedy From Different Time Lines

Sree Vishnu attempts another innovative subject with his next outing Swag directed by Hasith Goli. The makers unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer today.

The narrative, spanning different timelines, begins in 1551, where male dominance reigns supreme. Within the Swaganika dynasty, every king yearns for a male heir. However, Yayathi from 70s leads a modest life with only daughters.

Amid this backdrop, Bhavabuti from the same clan is presently in search of the successor, and finally finds one in Singa. His greatest challenge is to safeguard the dynasty’s treasure while facing opposition from Vijnjamara Queen.

Director Hasith Goli dealt with a first-of-its kind story that explores the complexities of gender aspects. Readmore!

Sree Vishnu seems to have showcased his versatility in four distinct looks.

Ritu Varma appears as Vinjamara Queen, while Meera Jasmine makes a notable comeback in a different role. Daksha Nagarkar, Saranya Pradeep and Sunil also appeared in the trailer.

However, the dialogue like "purushangaaniki praakulaata ekkuva" hints adult comedy with no much of censor cut.

The technical and production values look impressive. Cinematography was dealt by Vedaraman Sankaran, while music is scored by Vivek Sagar.

Overall, the trailer suggests that the film is in the genre of farce comedy. The movie is up for release on October 4th.
