Sujana, Rayapati get bank notices, Naidu in jitters

As if the IT raids are not enough to corner former CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, his close associates are in big trouble now, giving him sleepless nights as to where these developments will take him.

Chandrababu Naidu is more worried these days as he is clueless on the IT raids and other cases filed against his close associates.

These raids and the cases point a finger at Naidu as the conspirator and his rivals – Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in the State – are waiting for the right clue and right time to take revenge.

The revenge politics are now witnessed with Narendra Modi coming to power for the second time in Delhi and taking his aide Amit Shah as Home Minister. Readmore!

The new Home Minister had saw to it that his predecessor, P Chidambaram, is arrested and kept behind the bars, a clear revenge.

Chidambaram, as the then Home Minister in the UPA government, had arrested Amit Shah in a case and Shah in return had paid Chidambaram with the same coin.

Back in AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy is not in a hurry to take revenge against Chandrababu Naidu, as he wants a clear evidence.

Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly believes that he had to be in the jail for 16 months because of the conspiracy that Naidu hatched with the Congress and it has to be paid back.

As a beginning to this political revenge, cases are being filed against the close associates of Naidu and an IT raid was conducted on Naidu’s former PS.

Now, the banks have slapped notices on Naidu’s close associates, Y S (Sujana) Chowdary and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.

It is alleged that Rayapati is indebted to the banks to the tune of Rs 837 crore, while Sujana Chowdary owes Rs 400 crore.

The Bank of India had served the notice to recover the debt, borrowed in 2018. As Sujana Chowdary was not responding to the notices, the bank had set the properties for auction. The bank would put Sujana’s properties for public action.

Meanwhile, Andhra Bank also issued a similar statement putting Rayapati’s properties for auction on March 23, to recover the debt.

It is to be seen where these actions would land the two leaders and their mentor with the revenge politics making fast moves.
