The Congress has been seeing a bad omen and majority of political circles are concluding that it is at its fag end due to the not so powerful and promising descendant from the Gandhi family.
Rahul Gandhi has been considered as a weak wicket in the party who was forcibly pushed on to handle the party leadership. Sonia's era is finished and now the party is looking out for the best alternative.
But who can be the one? In a recent interview Robert Vadera, the son in law of Rajiv Gandhi has expressed his political interests and has shared that he has learned a lot by being a member of Gandhi family.
His social media accounts are also full of pictures with social work. When asked about his interest to join real time politics he replied, "yes, why not".
So, can Robert Vadera be an alternative for Rahul Gandhi in the party? In fact, son-in-law politics is famous in the history of Andhra Pradesh so far.
Will it repeat at the national level also?
