Social Media Attacks: Short Cut To Get Power And Favor?

It has become a trend for many to engage in harsh criticism of a political party and its leaders, aiming to garner support from the opposition group and gain power or favor from them.

Numerous instances of inflammatory language have been observed on social media from both the TDP and YSRCP factions.

Yesterday, Yasasvi, an NRI known for his offensive remarks against YSRCP, which pleased TDP leaders, was arrested at Shamshabad airport by the AP CID upon his arrival. He faced charges of making false and defamatory allegations against YSRCP and its leaders.

A similar individual engaging in such behavior on social media is Punch Prabhakar from the YSRCP side, who has extended his criticisms beyond TDP. He didn't even spare constitutional systems and its people. He, too, could potentially face a similar arrest upon landing in India irrespective of who is in power. Readmore!

This has become a prevailing pattern. Yasasvi seems to believe that if TDP comes into power, he will be rewarded with a favorable position for the arrest he faced. In some visuals from the airport, he is seen laughing, presumably under the impression that this arrest will earn him favor with the top brass of TDP.

Lokesh may even recommend his name for significant rewards, as he has previously encouraged people to criticize YSRCP, get cases filed, and become eligible for power and positions when TDP comes to power.

All that they have to endure is a brief harassment from the police. However, these individuals often fail to consider the consequences if YSRCP returns to power.

Another alarming piece of information circulating is about the person who leaked the information about Yasasvi landing in Shamshabad.

According to rumors, a popular analyst who used to spend many hours on a pro-TDP channel but recently distanced himself and began criticizing TDP for not considering him for an MLA ticket is allegedly behind this leak.
