So, Modi wants Naidu's vision to make India No. 1!

Sycophancy seems to have gone to the extreme level in the yellow media. While the people of Andhra Pradesh threw Telugu Desam Party led by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu out of power lock, stock and barrel, his favourite media has been trying to project him as a “visionary par excellence” who has the capacity to transform the entire country.

Take the case of the report published by Andhra Jyothy Telugu daily, known for its blatant support to the TDP in general and Naidu in particular.

The report sought to project the people of Andhra Pradesh as the most brainless people for rejecting Naidu in the last elections, though he has the capacity to advice even Prime Minister Narendra Modi on how to take the country forward.

This particular daily has been trying to attach a lot of significance to the recent five-minute interaction between Modi and Naidu during the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav meeting in New Delhi. Readmore!

While Naidu himself said later that Modi had enquired about his family and health and said: “we shall meet up leisurely later,” the Andhra Jyothy has sought to some more masala to the brief chat and project Naidu in high esteem.

According to the report in Andhra Jyothy, Modi had asked the TDP chief’s advice in making India the No. 1 in the world by 2047, when it completes 100 years of independence.

“What are your ideas to take the country forward in the next 25 years and what sort of planning can we make? Can you give me a blue print?” the Andhra Jyothy report quoted Modi as asking Naidu.

The report went to the extent of saying that there is a background for Modi asking Naidu’s advice on development of the country.

According to the report, during the pandemic period, Naidu had sent some reports to Modi on how control Covid-19.

It said Naidu had constituted an institution called “Global Forum for Sustainable Development,” headed by former chief secretary S P Tucker. to study various issues.

This institution has made extensive study on Covid-19 pandemic and prepared the reports, which Naidu had sent to the PMO.

“Deeply impressed by these reports, Modi has now asked Naidu to prepare a vision document on the development of the country in next 25 years. The TDP chief is now busy preparing the same,” the report said.

It said Naidu has taken serious note of Mod’s request and started working on how to develop India as a 50 trillion dollars’ economic power in the next 25 years.

As manyas 15 retired officials are working on this vision plan, which will be ready in another one year, the report said.

Interestingly, Naidu did not disclose this plan or strategy to Andhra Jyothy, which it claimed, came to know from his team members.

Well, the report wrote everything except that Modi might have offered his Prime Minister seat to Naidu so that the latter could take India into 22nd century!
