Some blatant truths shock the people around. Since 2019, there is a widespread propaganda that YS JaganMohan Reddy government has been introducing and selling cheap liquor brands in the state.
The heavily thrilled brands were the President's Medal, Governor's Reserve and Boom beer.
In fact the YSRCP government has no credit in the nomenclature and the sale permission of these brands. These brands were introduced and permitted by Chandrababu Naidu when he was the Chief Minister.
All the B and C brands being uttered by Chandrababu, Somireddy, Bonda Uma and Anitha were introduced in the state between 2014 and 2019.
Coming to the distilleries- Vishka Distillery belongs to Ayyanna Patrudu, PMK Distilleries is owned by the relative of Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. Sri Krishna Distilleries is owned by Adi Keshavulu Naidu and SPY Reddy is the owner of SPY Distilleries. It is needless to say that all these owners belong to TDP.
Jagan Mohan Reddy's government didn't give permission to any new distillery after 2019.
President 's Medal was introduced on 6th Feb 2018 when Chandrababu was the CM.
Governor's Reserve came on Non 5th 2018.
All the other whisky brands with the names of Governors, Napoleon, Octan, Seventh Heaven were given permissions on 26th October 2018 by the AP State Breweries Corporation Ltd.
Veera and Boom beers were also brought into the state on 14th May 2019.
High Voltage, SNJ and British Empire beers entered the state on 7th June 2017. The brands Roya Palace, Luhi and Signout were given permissions on 9th November 2018.
In spite of all this recorded evidence, the government of Jagan Mohan Reddy never tried to expose this truth either in the form of Press Meet or Press Note.
On the other hand the TDP and yellow media groups have been doing Goebbels propaganda by spreading the false news that these brands are owned by YCP leaders and Jagan Mohan Reddy gave permissions out of nepotism.
Hope the people of Andhra Pradesh know the truth at least now.
Ramana Reddy
