Sharmila questioned why Congress should show solidarity with Jagan's dharna. She argued that Jagan's dharna in Delhi was motivated by political survival and accused him of having an illicit relationship with the BJP for five years.

"Should we show solidarity with a party that has jeopardized the rights of bifurcation and special status to AP?" she asked.

However, it is noteworthy that she did not respond to Jagan's criticism regarding Rahul Gandhi's alleged close relations with Chandrababu.

Sharmila stated that people have decided not to identify Jagan as YSR's legacy. She advised her brother to change his ways, suggesting that all these criticisms are part of her own political strategy.
