800 is the title of the film directed by M S Sripathy. The uncanny resemblance of Vijay Sethupathi as Muttaiah Muladharan in the first look posters of 800 has been grabbing eyeballs.
However, there are many who are against Vijay playing the character of a Sri Lankan given the atrocities against Tamils in Sri Lanka. They couldn't tolerate seeing a Tamilian wear a Sri Lankan flag on his chest!

Neither Vijay Sethupathi nor its makers would have expected such an extreme reaction.
We have to see whether they are willing to go ahead with the project or not.
