One of the most shameful incidents took place in Manipur, where a group of anti-social elements marched two women naked and raped one of them.
The brother of the victim was also allegedly killed by the evil mob. This incident occurred in May but came to light yesterday when the video went viral.
The issue is extremely sensitive, disgusting, and frightening, putting every Indian to shame as international media once again portrays India in a negative light.
Many people on social media are responding to this and demanding the culprits to be punished. Some are also verbally attacking the BJP Government in the state of Manipur.
However, it is disheartening that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan have not responded to this incident on their Twitter accounts so far.
How should this be understood? Is YS Jagan silent because he has an unannounced alliance with BJP at the center?
Is Pawan Kalyan silent because he fears that commenting on this issue would attract the wrath of BJP? Is CBN silent as he is still awaiting a positive response from BJP for the alliance?
If the party heads of our state are so calculated in political terms that they can't even make a condemning statement against the atrocity on women, how can they be called leaders?
It's a shame on everyone's part.
