While there has been no official announcement regarding the new release date of "Salaar," industry insiders suggest that the makers have finally settled on a new date.
According to distributors, Hombale Films, the production company, has informed them of the updated release date via email.
According to these reports, "Salaar" is slated to hit theaters on Christmas Eve, specifically on December 22, 2023.
Director Prashanth Neel is currently reshooting some scenes to enhance their impact, with all this work expected to be completed by the end of October. As a result, the film is rumored to be targeting a Christmas 2023 release.
If this indeed becomes the release date, it may require adjustments to the plans of other films, including Nani's "Hi Nanna," Venkatesh's "Saindhav," Nithiin's "Extra Ordinary Man," and Dhanush's "Captain Miller," all of which had previously announced Christmas release dates.
