YSR Congress Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijay Sai Reddy wants to go on a foreign trip again for a fortnight next week.
Sai Reddy is facing the quid pro quo case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
So, he has to take permission from the court. So, on Wednesday, he filed a petition in the Nampally CBI Court seeking permission for a foreign trip.
In his petition, Sai Reddy requested permission to travel to the USA and France from November 15 to 30. The CBI, which raised objections to the petition, urged the court not to grant permission.
However, the petitioner's lawyer informed the court that the trial court had previously allowed foreign travel. After hearing the arguments, the court reserved its verdict until November 8.
In August, too, Sai Reddy, along with Jagan approached the court seeking permission to go on a foreign tour. However, he could not go due to political developments in the state.
