Sai Pallavi: 'I Would Join Army In That Case'

Sai Pallavi, known for her exceptional performances, will next be seen as an army officer's wife in her upcoming film Amaran.

In an exclusive interview with greatandhra.com, she shared intriguing insights about the movie and her character.

Sai Pallavi emphasized that Amaran stands apart from Adivi Sesh’s Major.

“While Major tells the story of Sandeep, a Malayalee, Amaran centers on Mukund, a Tamil character. However, the themes will resonate with all Indians. The bond of the army connects us universally. We aim to portray the emotional journey of a family sending their son into service and the challenges faced by an army man. This biopic serves as a tribute to our soldiers, and Mukund's journey is distinct from Sandeep’s.” Readmore!

She reflected on her portrayal of Indhu, the army officer's wife, noting that her character embodies vulnerability, which provides hope and strength to their husbands who bear the weight of family responsibilities.

“I connected deeply with the emotions of being a girlfriend and wife of an army man. Indhu is daring and graceful yet retains a childlike spirit. She represents a strong woman.”

When asked if she would marry an army officer, Sai Pallavi shared her admiration for those in the military, recalling her experiences observing medicos training at army camps.

“It inspired me to think about opportunities I missed. If I were to marry an army officer, I would join the army and go along with him.”

In the full interview, she also discusses the Virata Parvam controversy, her role in Ramayan, and more.
