Sai Korrapati's profit and loss story of NTR biopic is an interesting one.
It is a fine example of how producers smile all the way to the bank and how distributors were left in dire straits. Sai Korrapati who is one of the producers for NTR biopic made a handsome profit on it.
Sai reportedly got Rs. 5 crore as his share as the producer of NTR Kathanayakudu. However, he bought the distribution rights of the film for a couple of areas.
He lost around Rs. 8 crore as distributor due to the disastrous result of NTR at the box office.
Although the film turned out to be a profitable venture for him as a producer, he eventually ended up with Rs. 3 crore loss as he tasted bitter results as a distributor.
NTR Kathanayakudu ended up as one of the historical flops with a loss of over Rs. 50 crore.
Now the makers are finding it tough to build hype for the second part of the biopic.
