Sai Dharam Tej is actually a hero from the Mega camp. He has his own identity and has made some admirers for himself with some successes in his career.
He need not pay attention or stoop to give replies to some social media political activists. If he does that, he has to face certain challenges.
First of all, one should be intelligent, daring, and entertaining enough to combat anyone on social media. Without those qualities, poking into something will prove fatal for one's public image.
Sai Dharam Tej did exactly that. Pradeep Chinta is a YCP activist on social media who openly supports Jagan Mohan Reddy and exposes the misdeeds of opponents in his way.
In the process, Pradeep Chinta tweeted something like, "Where are the safe hands that rub the neck? Those hands would have cleaned plates in Anna Canteen." It is needless to say that he was referring to Pawan Kalyan.
To this, Sai Dharam Tej replied, "Doctor garu, where do you stay, andi???" implying a soft warning.
"That’s in my bio, bro - You can’t miss it. Unfortunately, 'safe hands' are missing in AP," replied Pradeep.
In continuation, Sai Dharam Tej took the topic to other things: "Ohhh okay, okay, no wonder the egg puffs bill is so high, sir. Hope you’ve eaten well, andi. Take care, sir."
This discussion thread continued, and Pradeep Chinta responded by posting Vaishnav Tej's "Uppena" posters, saying, "I can buy & eat egg puffs myself; I don’t need anyone's help, thank you. However, I will be very careful to feed any child (girl or boy) who is a minor, as we need to act wisely… leave alone making them act in romantic scenes with adult content. I practice what I preach."
With this, Sai Dharam Tej went silent. This silence proves his defeat in the discussion. Many of his admirers, irrespective of party affiliations, feel that he should have refrained from unnecessarily poking into political aspects.
An insider from the film industry who is close to Sai Dharam Tej says, "Sai Dharam Tej has been disturbed since the accident episode. He is feeling an inferiority complex as his career is not as rocking as that of many other young heroes. He believes that he has to live in the shadow of Mega biggies like his uncle Nagababu. He also ousted his manager due to his short temper. On the whole, he is unable to control his emotions, which is bad for both his professional and personal life."
This could be an opinion and may not be completely true, but what Sai Dharam Tej did without being directly involved in politics is not something commendable.
He should have maintained silence and continued to gain admirers from all sections as an actor.
