Prabhas starrer big-budgeted action entertainer “Saaho” was a miserable flop in Telugu states.
A year and a half later, the film premiered on Zee Telugu, and the result was the same as in the theaters.
Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Saaho” had its TV premiere on the Zee Telugu channel on the 18th of October.
It had a fetched dismal rating of 5.82 points in urban areas of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This is nothing but a disaster.
When films like Allu Arjun’s “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” (27 TVR points) and Mahesh Babu’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru” (23 TVR points) had set new records, Prabhas’s movie getting such a low rating proves the fact the entertainment is the key.
The film’s Hindi version, however, turned out to be a blockbuster in the North Indian market. It also had an impressive TV premiere in Hindi.
