Rs 3600 Crore: Who Is Lying?

Union Minister Prakash Javdekar was in Anantpur to inaugurate the classes for Central University there.

There were a score of TDP leaders in attendance including Paritala Sunitha and Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said there were no funds being released by the Centre for the Universities and educational institutions promised under Reorganisation Act.

“While the State government has spent Rs 900 crore on providing land and other amenities for the institutions, there is absolutely no help forthcoming from the Centre,” said Ganta and even showed facts and photographs of the work-in-progress to the media personnel. Readmore!

Prakash Javdekar also spoke to the media and said the Centre had given Rs 3600 crore to AP so far for educational institutions. He also furnished details of the funds released to the media.

Had that Committee gone ahead and completed its work, we would have got the answers to many questions.
