How far is Ram Charan truly regarded as a pan-Indian actor? His solo films have never been hits in Bollywood.
His direct Hindi film Zanjeer, released several years ago, was a flop. The only movie that earned him national recognition was RRR, which was not a solo project.
Despite this, Bollywood media is now calling him the second-highest-paid actor in India, with Allu Arjun reportedly taking the top spot.
Interestingly, Prabhas, once considered India's highest-paid actor, is said to have been pushed to the third position by certain Bollywood outlets.
It is widely known that Prabhas holds the title of the highest-paid actor in India, followed by Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar.
However, recent reports from Bollywood media claim that among Telugu actors, Allu Arjun leads with a â¹150 crore remuneration for Pushpa 2, followed by Ram Charan with â¹130 crore. The same reports state that Prabhas is receiving only â¹80 crore for Kalki.
While Ram Charan may climb higher in the rankings if he delivers a national blockbuster with Game Changer, many find it hard to believe he ranks second in India without such achievements. This claim has left him open to trolling, as people find it unrealistic.
Some suggest that this is part of a media-driven effort to boost Ram Charan’s image, which is fine, but many feel the stories should be more credible.
