On Tuesday, firebrand YSR Congress party leader and former minister R K Roja posted a message on X asking her friends and followers that she has been using her social media accounts only on #facebook #Instagram, #twitter and #threads to keep herself available to them.
Roja said she had no official YouTube channel.
“Please note that it is one of the many attempts to malign me deliberately. I warn the people to delete such YouTube channels, if any, being run on my name. Otherwise, legal actions would be taken such fake YouTube channels,” she said.
She asked her fans and supporters to follow only “blue-tick” verified social media accounts, which are official.
Sources, however, said Roja was indeed operating a YouTube channel and posting video messages regularly.
A couple of days ago, she posted an opinion poll asking the people during his whose period, the administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams was better.
Within 24 hours, more than 19,000 people took part in the poll and 76 percent them voted in favour of N Chandrababu Naidu.
Similarly, in another poll, she asked who was at fault in the Tirupati adulteration issue and over 62,000 people took part in the voting and 72 percent of them faulted Jagan for the adulteration of laddu.
“These polls were also conducted on her X account and the response was same. Shocked at this, Roja quickly deleted all these posts and even closed down the YouTube channel,” sources said.
