Road Accidents Haunting Nandamuri Family

Road accidents have been haunting Nandamuri's family. Two accidents took the lives. The tragic death of Nandamuri Harikrishna brought how road accidents have played havoc in the lives their family.

In 2009, Young Tiger NTR escaped in a tragic road accident. NTR Jr was returning from Khammam to Hyderabad after finishing election campaign for Telugu Desam party.

Soon after crossing Suryapet, his car was rammed into a divider. NTR Jr who was driving then was hurt severely. Doctors saved him. Overspeeding in the night was the reason for this accident.

Harikrishna’s elder son Janaki Ram was also killed in a road accident in 2014 when he was returning from Vijayawada to Hyderabad.

Janaki Ram who was driving his car himself rammed into a tractor near Akupamula village in Nalgonda district. He lost his life in the fatal accident. It was later learned that overspeeding and not wearing seat-belt caused his death.

And today Nandamuri Harikrishna lost his life in the road accident on the same national highway. He was not wearing seat belt and his car skidded due to overspeeding.

After the death of Janaki Ram, Kalyan Ram has been putting a cautionary message in his films asking audiences to wear seatbelt.

“The tragedy that happened in our family should not be happened in anyone’s family. Please wear seat belts,” Kalyan Ram movies give this message.

Sadly, his father also lost in road accident for not wearing seat belt.
