Gadwala MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy, who recently joined the Congress party, surprised Revanth Reddy recently by meeting KTR and announcing that he will remain in the BRS party.
Amid speculation that three other MLAs might join the BRS party alongside him, there has been considerable discussion in political circles and the media suggesting that Minister Ponguleti is orchestrating this situation. Revanth Reddy is also suspecting the same.
In this context, it is reported that Revanth Reddy contacted Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, questioning why this is happening if Ponguleti was responsible for bringing BRS MLAs into the Congress party.
On the other hand, there is another analysis suggesting that while bringing MLAs from other parties may be relatively easy, catering to their needs and satisfying their desires is a Herculean task. Sources indicate that Revanth Reddy is struggling with this aspect.
Revanth Reddy is also concerned that his image could be tarnished if the MLAs who joined Congress decide to defect and return to the BRS.
