Rajamouli made an official statement that #RRR will release on July 30, 2020. However, the filming has been delayed for various reasons and it will finish only by July next year.
The makers thought of pushing the release date to Dasara 2020, but they have decided to push it further after the pathetic response for Sye Raa in Hindi markets.
#RRR may release for Sankranthi 2021 or Summer 2021 depending upon the release schedules of Bollywood biggies.
Rajamouli wants to make sure that it wouldn't clash with any Hindi biggie after witnessing the response for Sye Raa in its clash against War.
Although the new release date for #RRR isn't fixed yet, it is pretty clear that it wouldn't release next year. This news is sour for Tarak and Charan fans who are eagerly waiting to see the multistarrer directed by numero uno director Rajamouli.
Given the high budget and theatrical business of around Rs. 600 Crore, doing well in Hindi markets is a necessity for #RRR.
