Reel Buzz: Ram's Red Achieving A Rare Feat

Not often do we see Telugu films releasing in 7-8 Indian languages. Only magnum opus movies like Baahubali 1 & 2, Saaho, and RRR enjoy this privilege. 

Interestingly, Ram Pothineni's Red is set to achieve this mighty rare feat as the film is being dubbed and released in a total of 7 Indian languages.

Red will be simultaneously releasing in Telugu and Kannada on 14th January. The Malayalam dubbed version will be out on 22nd of this month.

Ram has gained a reasonably good following in Hindi as quite a few of his Hindi dubbed films have clocked hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. So, the makers of Red are planning to release the film in Hindi towards the end of the month. Readmore!

Red, which is the remake of Thadam will also be releasing in Tamil but it will be skipping theatrical release and be made available for streaming on a leading OTT platform.

Apart from these four mainstream languages, Red will also be getting s theatrical release in Bengali, Bhojpuri, and Marathi. The release dates will be officially announced soom.

Well, the scale on which Red is releasing can be considered as an indicative of Ram's growing popularity amongst pan-India audience. 

The makers are super confident about the film and persisted on theatrical release, despite receiving sizeable deals from OTT platforms. Now, they are planning a grand release for the Ram starrer.

Red is directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore. It has Malvika Sharma, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Amritha Aiyer in prominent roles.

The trailer of the film has already clocked over 12.5 million views.
