Real Major Was Hired For Wild Dog: Nagarjuna

Age is just a number for hero Nagarjuna who will be seen performing some daredevil stunts in his upcoming action thriller Wild Dog.

What we saw in the film’s trailer is just a sneak peek into the kind of action extravaganza we are going to witness on big screens on April 2nd.

Nagarjuna under the supervision of two stunt directors worked on his body language, techniques to hold gun properly like an NIA officer, pace in performing action sequences etc.

Hollywood stunt director David Ismalone of Fast and Furious 7 same was zeroed in to supervise breathtaking action episodes and Nagarjuna became a pro in doing all the stunts authentically.

When there were travel restrictions, Syam Kaushal of Dangal and Ek Tha Tiger fame was brought into look after the stunts shot in Manali and other locations, after lockdown was lifted in India.

The stunt sequences choreographed by the two stunt directors were said to be a whole new experience to action lovers on screen.

What’s more the makers hired a real major to teach Nagarjuna and his Wild Dog team how the commands and silent symbols will be during military operations.

“I knew Ashishor since Oopiri as he was the writer for the film and he is a Mr perfectionist. While stunt director David taught us how to hold gun and behave during military operation, Syam has done amazing job as more than 50% of the action sequences you saw in trailer was composed by him.

Furthermore, a real major was hired to teach all of us that how the soldiers communicate with each other, silent commands and signals during military operations,” informed Nagarjuna.

Nag stated that the trailer was first shown to Chiranjeevi who was spellbound by the engaging narration and he was happy to launch it.

Then, Mahesh Babu too lauded the trailer saying it looks terrific and cool.

The trailer of the film crossed 8 million views with massive response and it is trending on top now.

The film directed by Ahishor Solomon and produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under Matinee Entertainment is going to thrill you in theatres on April 2nd.
