Paayal Rajput became a sensation overnight after the release of ‘RX100’. Known for her uninhibited skin show and daring attitude in indulging smooch scenes on screen, Paayal Rajput made a name for herself in a short time.

Cashing in her image, “RDX Love” has also been advertised on the lines of “RX100” and this has created a lot of buzz.

Let’s find out whether the film is worth all the hungama.

Story:
Alivelu (Paayal) promotes government schemes and tries to bring change in the lives of ordinary people with her social activities. She resides in a hostel in Vijayawada.

Siddhu (Tejas Kancherla), son of a media baron (Aditya Menon), falls for her beauty, it was love at first sight for him. She involves him in her social awareness activities. During the course, she also starts liking him.

Things take a turn when Siddhu’s father asks police officer Mona David (Mumaith Khan) to threaten Alivelu so that she leave his son.

Alivelu is least worried about love and more focused on her mission to meet CM for a particular reason. Why is it for that?

Artistes’ Performances:
Paayal Rajput has played the role of an activist that has scope for her to exhibit acting talents, which she does to an extent. However, her characterization is so worn-out and the director has focused on bold stuff at the beginning (dialogues about sex) and in the latter part of the movie. Exposing the skin in songs and certain scenes is there to satisfy her fans. She doesn’t disappoint on that front.

Tejas is just okay as the male lead. Mumaith Khan as a bad cop goes overboard.

Aditya Menon, Tulasi, Nagineedu and other senior actors have done typical roles.

Technical Excellence:
The film has decent technical and production values. Music is dull. Cinematography is good. Writing is a pedestrian.

Highlights:
Paayal’s hotness

Drawback:
Silly storyline
Cheap and vulgar scenes
Tacky narration
Poor taking and technical values
Full of outdated ideas

Analysis
At the outset, “RDX Love” is all about a social activist’s struggle to bring a developmental change. It is a serious topic. But you only come to know the significance of the subject after the interval.

Till then, the movie goes on with silliest sequences like Paayal Rajput, an activist, teaching people how to use safeties (condoms) for safe sex as part of the HIV awareness campaign.

In another episode, she goes to a village where women are suffering due to their drunkard husbands.

She and her boyfriend (hero Tejas) teach the women the Vatsayana Kama Sutra techniques to bring change in men. With their teachings, men throw the bottle and women jump on to the bed!

When a local Muslim leader refuses to ban gutkha selling in his locality, she informs him that his girlfriend actually wanted to kiss him but is not coming forward due to his gutkha-chewing habit.

In between, we also get to see three songs, and a comedy involving Chammak Chandra, etc.

The film completely goes awry and meanders into a different direction after the interval. After meeting the chief minister, she reveals her real goal. Even after things turn serious, we get to watch occasional silly sequences.

The solemn nature of the heroine’s mission gets diluted with illogical scenes and cringe-worthy adult dialogues.

The direction is bad. The writing is pathetic.

Overall, “RDX Love” is aimed for the sole purpose of attracting the masses with vulgar sequences and glamour show of Paayal Rajput. For others, this is a headache.

Bottom-line: Paayal Sizzles, Film Fizzles
