Every actor will have hits and flops in his career. But those who make strong comebacks, after scoring a series of flops will have a solid and long career.
Ravi Teja came back strongly many times in his career and when many are of the opinion that it’s the end for regular and commercial movies, he is proving them wrong.
Both Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni didn’t have hits before the release of Krack. Though it was a commercial potboiler, Krack ended up as a blockbuster.
However, Ravi Teja tasted bitter results with the next films. He again proved his mass stamina with Dhamaka through which he hit a century for the first time.
Trinadha Rao Nakkina was not a star director, and Sreeleela’s first movie Pelli SandaD wasn’t released when she was signed for Dhamaka. Music director Bheems was also not popular.
The production house People’s Media Factory is still new in the cinema business. The movie that didn’t have big names on the board became a blockbuster purely because of Ravi Teja’s star power.
Despite being called routine stuff, Dhamaka has been making remarkable business from day one and it has entered 100 crore gross club. This is Ravi Teja’s first movie to attain the mark.
The movie will have another good week until the Sankranthi releases arrive in cinemas.
