Rameshwar Rao to become TTD member?

Noted industrialist and real estate giant Jupalli Rameshwara Rao, chairman of My Home Group of companies is most likely to be appointed as member of the prestigious Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board.

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who appointed his uncle and former Ongole MP Y V Subba Reddy as the chairman of TTD trust board last week, is finalising the list of other board members.

According to highly placed sources, Rameshwar Rao’s name for the TTD member post was recommended to Jagan by popular seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and also Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. And Jagan could not say no to their recommendation, sources said.

There were already reports that Jagan has finalised the name of popular Telugu film producer Dil Raju as the TTD member, following the recommendation from KCR’s son and Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao.

If Rameshwara Rao also gets the TTD membership, it means the board will have two members under Telangana quota.

Let us see, whether both of them will be lucky to get the board membership or Jagan will take only one of them.

The new board is slated to be constituted in early July under the chairmanship of YSRC leader Y.V. Subba Reddy.
