Ram Pothineni is taking the action route with The Warriorr which is releasing on 22nd July.
In an exclusive interview with GreatAndhra.com, he spoke at length about the film.
“I had rejected many police stories till then. When Lingusamy garu first said Warriorr is a police story, I planned to reject it even before listening. But after listening, I couldn’t say no. It has the soul that can’t be rejected,” Ram said.
Ram added that he wanted to wear the police uniform immediately after listening Warriorr script, such was the level of excitement he had.
“Lingusamy is a path breaking mass director. You’ll see the best of him in Warriorr. The film is based on true incidents and that adds a new layer. Warriorr inspired me on a whole new level.”
About his co-star Krithi Shetty, Ram said she is a very enthusiastic actor and she has the desire and passion to become a good actress, which is very good.
Ram said DSP gave his very best for the film.
“Warriorr has so many exciting elements that we intentionally held them back from promotions in order to give the best theatrical experience to the viewers.”
Ram confirmed that his next with Boyapati Sreenu is a proper pan-India film and he said the script is designed with the pan-India audience in mind.
