Pushpa Has Big Task in the USA

Allu Arjun’s maiden pan-Indian project “Pushpa The Rise” has generated great hype after the success of the film’s songs.

The makers have been promoting the film aggressively. The pre-release event held on Sunday was a huge success as well.

The film will take massive openings in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. But all eyes on the film’s performance in the USA.

In the current scenario, raking in $2 million is also an uphill task. “Pushpa” was sold to an overseas buyer for huge money.

The USA distributor would gain profits only if the film rakes in more than 2.5 million dollars. The break-even point is $2.4 million.

The expected range of the film’s collection from premiere shows is 600k to 700k dollars.

The distributor has fixed $25k for the premiere shows. But it needs to perform strongly in the first weekend to reach even the break-even stage.

Hollywood biggie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has occupied all major screens in the USA, thus restricting the number of screens for Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa”.

The film has many challenges to overcome in the USA.
