"Pushpa 2" has been postponed from August to December 2024, but the postponement has had no effect on the film's business or buzz, according to a Tamil producer.
In an interview, KE Gnanavel Raja, one of the leading producers in the Tamil film industry, expressed confidence that Suriya's "Kanguva" will be a great blockbuster in India.
He added that South Indian films would continue to dominate the North Indian market, provided the filmmakers create great films that appeal to a wide range of consumers.
Furthermore, he stated that if one film is going to break records in the North Indian market, it will be Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2."
Gnanavel Raja stated that "Pushpa 2" will collect more money than "KGF 2," even in the worst-case scenario.
"If it works, the collections will be massive. The sky's the limit for the film," he continued.
