Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office with its record-breaking performance since its release on December 5, 2024.
Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the action-packed drama has been a massive success, breaking records on its fourth day by earning â¹85 crore from the Hindi version alone.
This makes it the first Hindi film to achieve such a figure in a single day. The film’s worldwide total has now crossed â¹800 crore.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 opened with a massive â¹165.25 crore net collection in India.
Although the second day witnessed a slight dip, the weekend saw a surge in collections. By the end of Day 3, the film’s cumulative earnings had reached â¹268.7 crore.
On Day 4 (Sunday), the movie recorded an 18% jump, collecting â¹141 crore globally, as per early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. This brings the domestic total to approximately â¹529 crore, making Pushpa 2 the fastest film to reach the â¹800 crore mark globally.
On Day 4, Pushpa 2 collected â¹44 crore from the Telugu version, â¹85 crore from Hindi, â¹9.5 crore from Tamil, â¹1.1 crore from Kannada, and â¹1.9 crore from Malayalam.
The overall occupancy rates on Sunday were remarkable, with Hindi leading at 84.25%, followed by Telugu at 73.50%, Tamil at 59.84%, Kannada at 53.34%, and Malayalam at 29.25%.
The Hindi version, in particular, has been performing exceptionally well, surpassing other South Indian films in the North Indian market and delighting audiences with its mass appeal and grand scale.
On the global stage, Pushpa 2: The Rule is poised to comfortably surpass â¹1,000 crore in the coming days.
Industry experts predict that the film’s lifetime collections will far exceed expectations, cementing its position as a cinematic juggernaut.
With Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles from Pushpa: The Rise (2021), the sequel’s thrilling narrative and larger-than-life execution have solidified its status as one of the most successful films in Indian cinema.
