Puri Jagannath Gives Police Compliant

Puri Jagannath, the director who allegedly has been facing threats from the distributors of the film 'Liger' gave a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station seeking police protection to his residence in Jubilee Hills.

In his complaint he stated that Warangal Srinu, the distributor defaulted under the Film Distribution Agreement dated 12 April 2022 and he's told that he had to pay amounts to his sub distributors and is defaulting the same.

Puri continued in his complaint that to escape his liability Waangal Srinu is instigating the sub distributors by falsely representing that he has to pay them the amounts.

He mentioned the names of Warangal Srinu and G Sobhan Babu in his complaint and stated that he needs the police protection at his house where his mother in law aged 85, wife aged 46 and daughter aged 24 are living right now. Readmore!

Puri also suggested indirectly through this complaint that the distributors may file a civil case in any of the courts instead of taking the illegal route of threatening him that his house and office would be attacked.

Many in the industry feel that the distributors have no other way than getting calmed down in this scenario.
