Now that ‘iSmart Shankar’ has become a super hit at the box-office, Puri Jagannadh’s recent video interviews are being dugout.
A video clip of Puri’s interview he gave before the release of ‘iSmart Shankar’ is now going viral.
In the video, Puri took a dig at Mahesh Babu saying that he likes Mahesh Babu’s fans more than the star.
“Mahesh Babu’s fans frequently ask me to revive Jana Gana Mana project that I had planned with the superstar. I had tried to tell them but I couldn’t do so but I would say now that Mahesh Babu works with directors who are in successful form. Since I was giving flops, he refused to work with me,” Puri Jagannadh said.
Puri Jagannadh and Mahesh Babu had worked together in two sensational hits “Pokiri” and “Businessman”.
In the same breath, he also mentioned that he would not work with Mahesh Babu again if the latter offers him a chance now.
“I have a character. Why would I say yes to him,” he said as he has given a huge hit.
